Current advertising status
Display advertising, Auto Ads, in-article ads, sidebar ads, and mobile-anchor ads are currently disabled and will only be enabled after site approval and consent controls are configured. No AdSense script or ad slot is rendered. Calculator Matters may use Google AdSense or another advertising provider to help fund the site. Whether or not advertising is currently active, it is kept visually separate from calculator inputs, controls, downloads, and results, and you are never required to click an advertisement to use a calculator or see a result.
Editorial and calculation independence
Advertisers do not control calculator formulas, assumptions, results, rankings, recommendations, or editorial conclusions — payment for advertising cannot change a calculator's output or cause a product or service to receive preferential treatment inside a calculation. See our Editorial Policy for the full independence standard that applies sitewide.
Sponsored content and paid placements
Calculator Matters does not currently publish sponsored or paid content. If that changes in future, it will be clearly labelled "Sponsored," "Advertisement," or with an equivalent disclosure before you engage with it, and we do not accept payment to recommend a lender or approve a financial product.
Advertising cookies and consent
If Google AdSense is enabled in future, Google may use cookies and similar technologies subject to consent and applicable law; for more detail see Google's advertising technologies page and how Calculator Matters uses cookies. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info, or send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser. Required consent, preference, and opt-out controls will be implemented before any personalised advertising is activated — see our Privacy Policy.
Third-party advertisers
Advertisements and advertiser websites, when present, are operated by third parties. Calculator Matters does not control their products, services, availability, pricing, privacy practices, or claims. Review an advertiser's own terms and privacy information before providing personal or financial information to them.
Advertising vs affiliate links
Display advertising involves paid ad placements shown on the website. Affiliate links may generate a commission when you follow a link and complete a qualifying action — a separate relationship, explained in the Affiliate Disclosure.
